DAVEY. — On 13 August, the Revd Peter William Davey: Priest-in-Charge of Calton, Cauldon, Grindon and Waterfall (1996-99); Calton, Cauldon, Grindon, Waterfall and Blore Ray with Okeover (1999-2000); Rector of Norton in the Moors (2004-09); aged 73.

HAWES. — On 25 July, the Revd Michael Rowell Hawes: RAF Chaplain (1965-86); Rector of Newnham with Nately Scures, Mapledurwell and Up Nately (1986-97); aged 85.

HOMEWOOD — On 25 July, the Revd Michael John Homewood: Priest-in-Charge of Woolacombe (1975-78); Team Vicar of Ilfracombe, Lee, West Down, Woolacombe and Bittadon (1978-82); Team Rector of South Molton with Nymet St George, High Bray, Charles, Filleigh, East Buckland, Warkleigh with Satterleigh, Chittlehamholt, Kingsnympton, North Molton with Twitchen and Chittlehampton (1982-97); Rural Dean of South Molton (1993-95); aged 84.

RYMER. — On 10 August, the Revd David John Talbot Rymer: Rector of Mabelreign, Mashonaland (1969-78); Priest-in-Charge of St Jude’s, South Kensington (1979-82); Vicar (1982-88); Priest-in-Charge of Ambergate and of Heage (1988-91); Rector of Ambergate and Heage (1991-96); Priest-in-Charge of Findern and of Willington (1996-2001); Vicar of Findern and of Willington (2001-03); aged 80.
