A hot-air balloon was inflated inside Liverpool Cathedral last week, carrying four choristers in its basket, during a service to celebrate a £384,000 donation from Hamish Ogston, a British entrepreneur and philanthropist, to save the cathedral organ — thought to be the largest pipe organ in the UK. The balloon, which belongs to Mr Ogston, rose 15 metres into the air
