As­­sistant Curate of Christ Church, Ware (1986-91); General Secretary of Mid-Africa CMS (1991-97); Vicar of Little Amwell (1997-2004); Rural Dean of Hertford and Ware (1999-2004); CMS Burundi (2004-07); aged 69.

HAYTON. — On 10 February, the Revd Norman Joseph Patrick Hay­ton: Vicar of Christ Church, Wesham (1974-79); St George’s, Chorley (1979-80); NSM of St Peter’s, Kells (1984-85); Priest-in-Charge of St Nicholas’s, Flimby (1985-90); Vicar of St James the Great, Barrow-in-Furness (1990-94); Team Vicar of Egremont and Haile (1994-97); Priest-in-Charge of Holy Spirit, Distington (1997-2000); Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church, Charnock Richard (2001-05); aged 84.

POYNTZ. — On 18 February, The Rt Revd Dr Samuel Greenfield Poyntz: Rector of St Stephen’s, Dublin (1959-78); Vicar of St Ann’s, Dublin (1967-78); Archdeacon of Dublin (1974-78); Bishop of Cork, Cloyne, & Ross (1978-87); Connor (1987-95); aged 90.

SKELLERN. — On 17 February, the Revd Peter Skellern: Hon. Assistant Curate of Talland, of Lanreath, of Lanteglos by Fowey, and of Lan­sallos, since 2016; aged 69.

WALKER. — On 13 February, the Revd John Hugh Walker: Vicar of St Alban’s, Great Ilford (1961-67); As­­sistant Curate of St Edmund’s, Forest Gate, and Assistant Master of Woodford County High School (1968-74); Assistant Master of St Augustine’s College, Canterbury (1974-75); Folkestone Technical High School (1975-82); Rector of St Peter and St Paul, Dymchurch with Burmarsh and Newchurch (1982-87); aged 82.
