The Bishop of Birmingham wishes to appoint to the new role of Head of Ministry Formation, to collaborate with others in developing a refreshed culture of learning for licensed and authorised ministries, both lay and ordained.
The successful candidate will enhance the worship and ministry of a church community known in the area for a high standard of traditional music, with four-part choral singing currently at most services. We are in the process of developing the diversity of the music at St Martin’s, so the director will also be involved in the exciting programme of exploring contemporary/informal music styles and repertoire.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and visionary Team Vicar who is excited about helping to shape an emerging Mission Community and able to work across a diversity of worship styles (traditional to modern). We are committed to working with all ages and making new disciples, as we share the gospel with our communities.
We are currently seeking to appoint a whole school (Prep and Senior) Chaplain with the imagination and energy to lead our Trust-wide Chaplaincy.
