New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Liver­pool, in that diocese, is to be the Revd Michael McGurk, Rector of Harpurhey, in Man­chester diocese, since 2010, and Area Dean of North Man­ches­ter since 2012. Before his pres­ent appointments, he had held posts in Manchester dio­cese since 2007.

ASTIN. The Revd Dr Timothy Astin, formerly Priest-in-Charge of Bottes­ford with Ashby (Lincoln), to be Vicar of Tadworth (Southwark).

BARKER. The Revd Cameron Barker, Vicar of St Paul’s, Herne Hill, and St Saviour’s, Ruskin Park (South­wark), to be Chaplain of the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Founda­­tion Trust (London).

BOARDMAN. The Revd Philippa Boardman, Canon Treasurer of St Paul’s Cathedral (London, to be Priest-in-Charge of St Mary Magda­lene, Wandsworth Common (South­wark).

CLAPTON. The Revd Timothy Clapton, Hon. Assistant Curate of St George-in-the-East with St Paul (London), now also Chaplain of HM Prison Wandsworth (Southwark).

DANIELS-WHITE. The Revd Jessie Daniels-White, Assistant Curate of
St Hugh’s Charterhouse Mission Con­­ven­­tional District, Bermondsey (South­­wark), to be Senior Curate.

DUMBRECK. The Revd Dr Geof­frey Dumbreck, Assistant Curate of the Ascension, Cambridge, to be Acting Dean of Peterhouse, Cam­bridge, re­­maining Assistant Chap­lain of Peter­house (Ely).

FLETCHER. The Revd Sarah Fletcher, Assistant Curate of New Bury with Great Lever, to be Vicar of Cheetham and Lower Crumpsall (Manchester).

GILES. The Revd Susan Giles, Vicar of the Anglesey Group, to be also Rural Dean of Fordham and Quy (Ely).

GODDEN. The Revd Peter Godden, Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Northwood, to be Priest-in-Charge of St John the Baptist with St Luke, Clay Hill (London).

GOUGH. The Revd David Gough, Vicar of Woodhouse, and Area Dean of Attercliffe (Sheffield), to be Priest-in-Charge of St Anne’s, Worksop, and of Norton Cuckney (Southwell & Nottingham).

GRIFFIN. The Revd Mark Griffin, Vicar of St Luke’s, Sevenoaks, and Rural Dean of Sevenoaks (Roches­ter), to be Rector of St Martin with St Paul, Canterbury (Canterbury).
