Bishops retire
THE Rt Revd Geoffrey Pearson, Suffragan Bishop of Lancaster, in Blackburn diocese, since 2006 and Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Ellel with Shireshead, in that diocese, since 2008, will retire in the summer. Before his present appointments, he had held posts in Liverpool diocese since 1989.
The Rt Revd Christopher Boyle, Assistant Bishop of Leicester, in that diocese, since 2009, will retire on 31 May. He was formerly Bishop of North Malawi in the Province of of Central Africa.
Dean retires
THE Very Revd Robert Key, Dean of Jersey since 2005, Priest-in-Charge of St Helier’s, Jersey, from 2005 to 2008, and Rector since 2008, will retire on 28 February. Before his present appointments, he was Director of the Church Pastoral Aid Society.

COOPER. The Revd Andrew Cooper, Community Chaplain of HM Young Offenders Institution Feltham (London).
DAVEY. The Revd Hilary Davey, Team Vicar in the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry, with special responsibility for Debden and Wimbish with Thunderley (Chelmsford).
GRAYSMITH. The Revd Penelope Graysmith, Chaplain of Katharine House Hospice, Stafford, and Family Support Team Leader (Lichfield). Mrs Graysmith left Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust Chaplaincy Services in 2012, not as stated in Gazette, 23 December (diocesan correction).
HALTON. The Revd Tony Halton, NS Assistant Curate of St John’s, West Hendon (London).
KINGSTON. The Revd Michael Kingston, Area Dean of West Lewisham, remaining Vicar of St Bartholomew’s, Sydenham, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark).
ROBINSON. The Revd Denis Robinson, Chaplain of Gordon’s School, Woking: July 2017, remaining Hon. Assistant Curate of Bisley and West End (Guildford) (correction).
