The actor Tamsin Greig, who is an ambassador for the Christian charity Tearfund, meets Bimenya (right), 25, who was married and about to give birth to her first baby when she was raped in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Research published by Tearfund last week suggests that men in the DRC who had a faith were more than twice as likely to think that violence towards their partner was never justified (News, 1 December)
