The Diocese of Chelmsford seeks two new Archdeacons for Colchester (North Essex), and Barking (East London). We need self-motivated team players who will inspire and lead the church in mission and who will embrace the complex detail of the Archdeacon’s portfolio.
These 7 parishes (6 churches) are located in stunningly beautiful agricultural countryside in south Suffolk, midway between Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Colchester, with good road and rail links to the rest of the country.
We are a small rural benefice in the Staffordshire Peak District with community ministry at our core,
Urban Hope is a relatively young pioneer church formed 7 years ago to reach people (especially the vulnerable and isolated) in the centre of Coventry - an increasingly vibrant and progressive city. The church operates primarily from a coffee shop in the city centre arcade, and has grown to over 100 people across the various services,
and who enthuse about their ‘different’ styles of church.
Average weekly work: 7 hours
Starting 1st October 2019
Value: £2,500 per annum
