New dean

THE next Dean of St Davids Cathedral, in that diocese, is to be the Revd Dr Sarah Rowland Jones, Priest-in-Charge of St John the Baptist, Cardiff, in Llandaff diocese, since 2013. Before that, she had been Research and Ecumenical Adviser to the Archbishop of Cape Town, in the Province of Southern Africa. She served her title in St Asaph diocese.

 

BARHAM. The Revd Peter Barham, Vicar of St Edmund’s, Allestree, and Darley Abbey, to be also Diocesan Ecumenical Officer (Derby).

BRANDSMA. The Revd Michael Brandsma, Assistant Curate of Hartshill and Galley Common, now Priest-in-Charge of Atherstone (Coventry).

BROWN. The Revd Sarah Brown, Team Vicar in the Daventry Team Ministry, with special responsibility for Welton, Rural Dean of Daventry, and Hon. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral, to be Canon Missioner of Peterborough Cathedral (Peterborough).

CARTER. The Revd Linda Carter, Assistant Curate of Broadstone, to be Team Vicar in the Marden Vale Team Ministry (Salisbury).

CHRISTIE. The Revd Mae Christie, Assistant Curate of St Christopher’s, Walworth, to be Priest-in-Charge of All Saints’, Tooting (Southwark).

CLARKE. The Revd Helen Clarke, Lead Mental-Health Chaplain designate of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust (Gloucester), now also Lead Chaplain of that Trust in Hereford (Hereford).

DAY. The Revd Paul Day, formerly Team Vicar in the Eccleston Team Ministry (Liverpool), to be Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Shirley (Birmingham).

DICKSON. The Revd Adam Dickson, Assistant Curate in the Wythenshawe Team Ministry (Manchester), to be Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of Great Horton (Leeds).

EDMONDS. The Revd Sarah Edmonds, house-for-duty Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Ilmington and Stretton-on-Fosse and Ditchford with Preston-on-Stour with Whitchurch and Atherstone-on-Stour and of Tredington and Darlingscott, to be Rector of Shipston-On-Stour with Honington and Idlicote (Coventry).

GARDNER. The Revd Lorna Gardner, NS Assistant Curate of Blaydon and Swalwell (Durham), to be NS Associate Minister.

HALL. The Very Revd John Hall, Dean of Westminster, to be also Hon. Canon of Chichester Cathedral (Chichester).

HOWELL. The Revd Pamela Howell, Vicar of Willenhall, now also Acting Area Dean of Coventry East (Coventry).

IRVINE. The Revd Gareth Irvine, formerly Assistant Curate of Westwood, now Vicar of St Laurence’s, Foleshill (Coventry).

JACKSON. The Revd Barry Jackson, Rector of the Edgehill Churches, now also Joint Acting Area Dean of Fosse (Coventry).

LEGH. The Revd Jane Legh, NS Assistant Curate (NS Associate Priest) of Boylestone, Church Broughton, Dalbury, Longford, Long Lane, Radbourne, Sutton on the Hill and Trusley, to be Interim part-time Priest-in-Charge, remaining NS Assistant Curate (NS Associate Priest) of the South Dales (Derby).

LINDSAY-SCOTT. The Revd Jonathan Lindsay-Scott, Assistant Curate of Romiley (Chester), to be Minister-in-Charge of Springfield Wallington Chapel (Southwark).

THOMSON. The Revd James Thomson, Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Chatteris (Ely), and part-time Chaplain of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (Norwich), now Chaplain of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Peterborough).
