BONNEY. — On 4 August, the Revd Professor Richard John Bon­ney: NSM of St Mary Magdalene’s, Knighton (1996-2011 and since 2016); Curate-in-Charge of St Guthlac’s, Conventional Dis­trict, Knighton (2011-16).

FOLEY. — On 30 July, the Rt Revd Ronald Graham Gregory Foley: Vicar of St Luke’s, Blackburn (1954-60); Rector of Brancepeth (1960-71); Durham Diocesan Director of Religious Education (1960-70); Hon. Canon of Durham Cathedral (1965-70); Vicar of St Peter’s, Leeds (1971-82); Hon. Canon of Ripon Cathedral (1971-82); Chaplain to the Queen (1977-82); Area Bishop of Reading (1982- 89); Hon. Assistant Bishop of York since 1995; aged 94.

HAYDEN. — On 29 July, the Revd Eric Henry Ashmore Hayden: Vicar of Holy Trinity, Cuckfield (1978-92); Priest-in-Charge of St Thomas à Becket, Tilshead, Orcheston and Chitterne (1992-97); aged 90.

HULBERT. — On 4 July, the Revd Hugh Forfar Hulbert: Minister of
St James’s Ecclesiastical District, Col­lier Row, Romford (1955-59); South-Western Organising Secret­ary of the Church Pastoral Aid Society (1959-63); Vicar of St Luke’s, Portsea (1963-75); Holy Trinity, Worthing (1975-81); Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity Con­ventional District, Hove (1981- 85); Assistant Curate of Hailsham (1986-87); aged 95.

NEALE. — On or before 25 July, the Revd Martyn William Neale: Vicar of St Michael and All Angels, Abbey Wood (1985-97); Holy Trinity, Hawley, since 1997; St Andrew’s, Minley, since 1997; Hon. Canon of Guildford Cathedral since 1997; aged 60.

NORWOOD. — On 29 July, the Revd Robert William Norwood: NSM of Holy Cross with St Jude and St Peter, St Pancras (2001-10); aged 79.

O’GARRO. — On 2 August, the Revd Henry Roland Furlonge O’Garro: NSM of St Augustine with St John, Kilburn (2000-05); St Mary’s, Willesden (2005-12); aged 87.

PANKHURST. — On 28 July, the Revd Donald Araunah Pankhurst: Vicar of Aspull (1968-76); Rector of Newchurch (1976-88); Winwick (1988-94); aged 89.

ROGERS. — On 6 August, the Revd David Rogers: Vicar of Cradley (1979-90); Beoley (1990-2008); Rural Dean of Bromsgrove (2000-06); Hon. Canon of Worcester Cathedral (2007-13); Team Rector of Holy Trinity, Redditch, including Beoley and Webheath (2008-13); aged 69.

SWINDLEHURST. — On 7 August, the Revd Michael Robert Carol Swindlehurst: Vicar of All Saints with St James, Brightlingsea (1969-95); Rural Dean of St Osyth (1984-94); Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathedral (1989-95); aged 88.

Correction. The Revd Charles Cecil Ruddock died on 6 April, not as stated last week. The Church of Ireland apologises for the error.
