The Bishop of Chichester is seeking to appoint an Archdeacon of Chichester. The Archdeacon will play a pivotal role within a dynamic senior team which serves a large and demanding Diocese. The Archdeaconry is largely rural but also incorporates the City of Chichester and the coastal towns of Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis where there is considerable social deprivation.
Gospel Oak is a place of London extremes. We have our share of challenges, seen through gun and knife crime, housing and income inequalities and the plight of refugees. We also have glimpses of joy found through our love of the arts, our celebrated links with other faiths, our local community schools, the night shelter and the Kentish Town City Farm.
