HENSHALL: on 7 February, the Rt Revd Michael Henshall: Minister of All Saints’ Conventional District, Micklehurst (1959-62); Vicar (1962-63); St George’s, Altrincham (1963-76); Hon. Canon of Chester Ca­­thedral (1972-76); Suffragan Bishop of Warrington (1976-96); Hon. As­­sistant Bishop of York since 1999; aged 88.

HUGHES. — On 21 January, the Revd Christopher Clarke Hughes: Team Vicar in the Lyd Valley Team Ministry (1970-74); Vicar of Buck­land Monachorum (1974-83); Rec­tor of Ashtead (1983-98); St Peter’s, Aboyne, and St Kentigern’s, Ballater (1998-2003); aged 76.
