Assistant Editor wanted

by
01 July 2016

The Church Times is looking for an assistant editor. This is a new post, to support our busy newsroom, but also to enable us to develop new areas of work.

The person we are looking for will be literate, reliable, meticulous, bright, adaptable, a quick learner, adept in the skills demanded by the modern media world. Knowledge of the C of E is a clear advantage. Journalistic experience is essential.

We are casting the net wide. The successful candidate would enjoy working with stimulating copy in a friendly and supportive office near the Barbican in London. Salary will be based on experience.

Applications by 22 July. Interviews 29 July. To apply, or for more details, email editor@churchtimes.co.uk

Design and Production post

We are also looking for someone to fill a gap in our design and production department. This could be a first job for a well trained and motivated design student; or possibly a part-time post for an experienced but flexible pro.

To apply, or for more details, email production@churchtimes.co.uk
