HOBBS. — On 17 February, the Revd Basil Ernest William Hobbs: Chaplain to the Forces (1954-68); Assistant Chaplain of St Mary’s Hospital, Praed Street, Paddington (1969-72); Licenced to Officiate at Holy Trinity with St Paul, Paddington (1970-72); Novice of Community of the Resurrection (1972-74); Pastoral Consultant of the Clinical Theology Association (1974-84); Chaplain of HM Prison Nottingham (1981-84); Hon. Assistant Curate of St Andrew’s, Nottingham (1983-84); Assistant Curate (1984-86); Team Vicar in the Clifton Team Ministry (1986-87); aged 93.
