New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Hastings, in Chichester diocese, is to be the Revd Dr Edward Dowler, Vicar of St John and St Luke, Clay Hill, in London diocese, since 2010, and Edmonton Area Continuing Ministerial Education Officer, in that diocese, since 2010. Before that, he had been Vice-Principal of St Stephen’s House, Oxford, since 2003, and Tutor and Director of Pastoral Theology there since 2001.

ANDERSON. The Revd David Anderson, Vicar of Longridge, to be Ecumenical Chaplain of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (Blackburn).

BAKER. The Revd Alexander Baker, formerly NS Assistant Curate of St Matthew’s, Habergham Eaves, with Holy Trinity, Burnley, now Hon. Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Gisburn (Blackburn).

BALL. The Revd Anthony Ball, Team Rector in the Worth, Pound Hill and Maidenbower Team Ministry (Chichester), to be Canon of Westminster Abbey, remaining Hon. Canon of El Redentor Cathedral, Madrid (Europe), and of All Saints’ Cathedral, Cairo (Egypt, Jerusalem and the Middle East).

BERRY. The Revd Paul Berry, Team Rector in the Edgware Team Ministry, to be also Area Dean of West Barnet (London).

BOSWELL. The Revd Colin Boswell, Vicar of St John the Baptist, Croydon, to be house-for-duty Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) of Holy Trinity and St Augustine, Sydenham, with special responsibility for St Augustine’s, Honor Oak Park, and Chaplain of St Dunstan’s College, remaining Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark).

CHAPMAN. The Revd Elizabeth Chapman, formerly Chaplain of the Pilgrim's Hospice, Canterbury, and Assistant Curate of Canterbury City Centre Parishes (Canterbury), now Chaplain of Ellenor, Gravesend (Rochester).

COX. The Revd Kenneth Cox, Hon. Assistant Curate in the St Laurence in the Isle of Thanet Team Ministry, to be also Spiritual and Care Lead for the Pilgrims Hospice, Thanet (Canterbury).

FARLEY-MOORE. The Revd Peter Farley-Moore, Hon. Canon of Mara Cathedral (Mara, Tanzania), and Team Rector in the Ravensbourne Team Ministry, now also Area Dean of Deptford (Southwark).

GOFF. The Rt Revd Susan Goff, Suffragan Bishop of Virginia (Virginia, ECUSA), now also Hon. Assisting Bishop (Liverpool).

GOODRICH. The Revd Nancy Goodrich, Vicar of Bolton-le-Sands, now also Area Dean of Tunstall (Blackburn).

JAMES. The Revd Sheridan James, Vicar of St Catherine’s, Hatcham, and Woolwich Episcopal Area Dean of Women’s Ministry, now also Assistant Area Dean of Deptford (Southwark).

JAMIESON. The Revd Guy Jamieson, Vicar of Southowram and Claremount, to be Vicar of Little Marsden with St Mary’s, Nelson, and St Bede’s, Nelson (Blackburn).

JENSEN. The Revd Juliet Jensen, Assistant Curate of Emmanuel Church, Forest Gate, with St Peter’s, Upton Cross (Chelmsford), to be Vicar of St James and All Saints and Christ Church, Gloucester (Gloucester).

MAINE. The Revd Michael Maine, Vicar of Cuckfield, to be also Rural Dean of Cuckfield (Chichester).

MAYBURY. The Revd Paul Maybury, Spirituality Co-ordinator and Bishop’s Missioner designate in the South East Cyprus Chaplaincy (Cyprus & the Gulf, Jerusalem and the Middle East), to be Canon Precentor of Bradford Cathedral, remaining Canon Emeritus of Wakefield Cathedral (Leeds).

MICHAUX. The Revd Teresa Michaux, Hon. Assistant Curate of St Andrew with St John the Baptist, Swindon (Bristol), to be Hon. Associate Minister.

MORGAN. The Revd Dr James Morgan, Chaplain of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (Oxford), to be part-time Chaplain of the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust (London).
