Dean to retire
THE Very Revd Christopher Armstrong, Dean of Blackburn Cathedral, in that diocese, since 2001, will retire in May. Before his present post, he had held appointments in York diocese since 1985.
THE Ven. Trevor Jones, Archdeacon of Hertford, in St Albans diocese, since 1997, will retire on 31 August. Before his present post, he had held posts in Hereford diocese since 1979.
