Acting Dean of Derby

THE Revd Dr Susan Jones, Derby Diocesan Director of Mission and Ministry, and Canon Residentiary of Derby Cathedral, since 2015, has been appointed Acting Dean. Before her present appointments, she had been Dean of Bangor since 2011, and held posts in Bangor diocese since 2000.

 

Retired Clergy Association

THE next Chair of the Retired Clergy Association is to be the Rt Revd Ian Brackley, Hon. Assistant Bishop of Ports­mouth. He succeeds the Rt Revd David Jennings.

 

AJAEFOBI. The Revd Dr Joseph Ajaefobi, Assistant Priest in Dept­ford deanery (Southwark), to be also Chaplain of the Church of Nigeria UK Chaplaincy (London).

ANDERSON. The Revd Ivo Anderson, OLM of St Paul and St James, Stratford (Chelmsford), to be part-time stipendiary.

ATKINSON. The Revd Heather Atkin­son, Priest-in-Charge of Mold­green and Rawthorpe (Leeds), to be Vicar of New Brighton (Chester).

BARKER. The Revd Dr John Barker, Assistant Chaplain of Christ Church, Vienna (Europe), now Rector of Buxted and Hallow Down (Chichester).

BARNES. The Revd Jules Barnes, Chaplain to the Bishop of Bristol, and Minor Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol), now Priest-in-Charge of Warnham (Chichester).

BISH. The Revd Jonathan Bish, Assistant Curate of Halifax Minster, to be Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Outwood (Leeds).

BLANDFORD-BAKER. The Revd James Blandford-Baker, Vicar of Histon, Priest-in-Charge of Imping­ton, and Rural Dean of North Stowe, and Hon. Canon of Ely Cathedral, to be also Rural Dean of Bourn (Ely).

BROWN. The Revd Marjorie Brown, Vicar of St Mary’s, Primrose Hill, with St Paul’s, Avenue Road, now also Edmonton Area Director of Ordinands (London) (diocesan correction).
