DAVIES. — On 11 November, the Revd Ivor Llewellyn Davies: Missionary in India (1965-71); Vicar of Connah’s Quay (1971-79); Priest-in-Charge of Gorsley with Clifford’s Mesne (1979-84); and Gloucester Diocesan Director of Ordinands (1979-90); Priest-in-Charge of Hempsted (1984-90); Hon. Canon of Gloucester Cathedral (1989-2001); Vicar of Parkend (1990-2001); Priest-in-Charge of Viney Hill (1997-2001); Canon Emeritus of Gloucester Cathedral since 2001; aged 81.

NEWBON. — On 20 November, the Revd Kenneth Newbon: Curate-in-Charge of Cressage with Sheinton (1972-75); Vicar of St Peter’s, Braunstone, Leicester (1975-81); Team Rector in the Braunstone Team Ministry (1981-84); Priest-in-Charge of Eardisley with Bollingham and Willersley, of Brilley with Michaelchurch on Arrow, and of Whitney with Winforton (1984-88); Rural Dean of Kington and Weobley (1987-95); Rector of Eardisley with Bollingham, Willersley, Brilley, Michaelchurch, Whitney with Winforton (1988-96); aged 87.

TUBBS. — On 15 November, the Revd Peter Alfred Tubbs: Assistant Chaplain of Keele University (1965-69); Vicar of Cardington (1969-85); Rural Dean of Elstow (1977-82); Assistant Curate of Sandy (1985-89); aged 94.

WHITE. — On 27 October, the Revd Peter Francis White: Vicar of St Edmund’s, Dartford (1956-62); Chaplain to the Forces (1962-78); Rector of Barming (1978-89); aged 89.
