SQUARE CACTUS

The Archbishop of York, Dr Sentamu, opens the new court at Blackburn Cathedral, on Sunday. It was the culmination, after 20 years, of William Temple’s vision “that the Cathedral should become a place of influence”, he said. Hundreds attended the service of celebration. The court includes the first cloisters to be built at a UK cathedral for over 500 years, residences, a café, gardens, a library and conference facilities
