BARRON. — On 19 December, the Revd Victor Robert Barron: Vicar of Holy Trinity with St Gabriel and St Lawrence, Easton (1981-89); Team Rector of St Andrew and St Philip, Kinson (1989-2000); Rural Dean of Poole (1994-2000); Canon and Prebendary of Salisbury Cathedral (1998-2000); Hon. Assistant Curate of Witchampton (2005-07); aged 70.

BENDING. — On 6 January, the Revd Richard Clement Bending: Vicar of Buckden (1992-99); Priest-in-Charge of Hail Weston (1997-99); Priest-in-Charge of Wiggenhall St Germans and Islington St Mary, of Tilney All Saints, of Terrington St John, and of Wiggenhall (1999-2002); Vicar of East Marshland (2002-05); aged 68.

DAMIAN SSF. — On 17 January, the Revd Brother Damian SSF (Roger James Kirkpatrick): member of the Society of St Francis since 1966; Guardian of the Belfast Friary (1980-88); Chaplain of Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast (1986-88); NSM of St Peter’s, Belfast (1986-88); in Birmingham (1989-93); Provincial Minister SSF (1991-2002); Vicar of Holy Island (2003-2010): aged 74.

WILSON. — On 18 December, the Revd Alfred Michael Sykes Wilson: Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Great Horton (1963-69); Rector of Rushden and Newton Bromswold (1969-76); Rural Dean of Higham (1975-83); Priest-in-Charge of St Peter’s, Rushden (1975-76); Rector of St Mary’s, St Peter’s, and St Mark’s, Rushden, with Newton Bromswold (1977-83); Hon. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (1977-97); Rector of St Peter and St Paul, Preston, and Ridlington with Wing and Pilton (1983-97); Rural Dean of Rutland (1985-95); aged 83.
