BUSS. — On 12 April, the Revd Dr Gerald Vere Austen Buss: Assistant Chaplain of Hurstpierpoint College (1970-73); Chaplain (1974-90); House Master (1990-94); History teacher (1994-96); aged 79.

EDWARDS. — On 9 March, the Revd Frances Mary Edwards: Assistant Chaplain of Royal Albert Hospital, Lancaster (1992-94); Chaplain (1994-96); North-West Regional Co-ordinator of Church Action on Disability (1996-2004); Hon. Canon of Blackburn Cathedral (2000-04); aged 76.

LYNN. — On 14 March, the Revd Jeffrey Lynn: Chaplain of HM Prison Manchester (1985-86); Kirkham (1986-93); Wakefield (1993-95); Sudbury and Foston Hall (1995-96); aged 76.

OSGERBY. — On 12 April, the Revd Dr John Martin Osgerby: Priest-in-Charge of West Bessacarr Conventional District (1980-84); Vicar (1984-87); Warden of Readers (1986-99); Rector of Fishlake with Sykehouse and Kirk Bramwith with Fenwick and Moss (1987-99); Rural Dean of Snaith and Hatfield (1993-99); aged 81.

PHILLIPS. — On 16 April, the Revd Martin Nicholas Phillips: Vicar of St Silas’s, Gillcar, Sheffield (1963-71); Birstall (1972-82); Rector of Wanlip (1972-82); Vicar of Birstall and Wanlip (1982-88) Team Rector in the Emmanuel and St Mary in Charnwood Team Ministry, Loughborough (1988-96); Hon. Canon of Leicester Cathedral (1990-96); aged 83.

THOMAS. — On 16 April, the Revd Russen William Thomas: Rector of St Florence with Redberth (1962-69); Vicar of St Julian’s, Newport (1969-79); Stratton (1979-88); Rural Dean (1983-88); Vicar of Lanteglos-by-Fowey (1988-91); Hon. Chaplain of the Mission to Seafarers since 1988; Chaplain of Playa de las Americas, Tenerife (1993-97); aged 85.

TURNER. — On 8 April, the Revd Robert Edgar Turner: Dean of Studies of Residences of Queen’s University, Belfast (1951-58); Minor Canon of Belfast Cathedral (1951-63); Domestic and Examining Chaplain to the Bishop of Down & Dromore (1956-67); Rector of St George’s, Belfast (1958-90); Canon of St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast (1971-76); Canon and Prebendary of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin (1976-90); Connor Diocesan Registrar (1982-2006); Principal Registrar since 2006; aged 95.

WILLMINGTON. — On 11 April, the Revd John Martin Vanderlure Willmington: Assistant Curate of St Mary Abbots, Kensington, in charge of St George’s, Campden Hill (1975-83); Rector of Perivale (1983-91); Vicar of Acton Green (1991-2014); aged 70.
