The Diocese of Sheffield is called to grow a diverse network of Christ-like, lively and sustainable Christian communities in every place, which are effective in making disciples and in seeking to transform our society and God’s world

The Diocese of Chester seeks a part time (50% stipend 3.5 days + Sunday) Priest.
Our benefice of four parishes is centred on the popular small town of Bruton in beautiful Somerset. Bruton is a lively, rejuvenated town with a growing reputation for food, the arts and creativity, as well as exceptional schooling. Surrounded by thriving rural communities and churches which offer different styles of worship, the Rector will enjoy a modern rectory in Bruton and an office with some administrative support.
We seek a Rector who can give a strong but gentle lead, with a vision to deepen and enrich the life of the church in terms of pastoral care, worship, and spiritual development, and be alongside us as we engage in the life of the Leith community, build links with other local faith communities, and fulfil our call to local and national mission.
