of Missions (1959-62); World Coun­cil of Churches’ Secretary for Laymen (1962-65); Fellow of St Augustine’s College, Canterbury (1965-66); Bishop of Singapore (1966-82); aged 98.

FOX. — On 25 November, the Revd Charles Edward Fox: Vicar of St Hilda’s, Egton, with Grosmont (1972-82); Priest-in-Charge of Newbold de Verdun (1982-83); Rector of St James’s, Newbold de Verdun, and Kirkby Mallory (1984-2004); aged 80.

JACKSON. — On 25 November, the Revd Harry Francis Jackson: Rector of Ash (1969-96); RAF Chaplain in Farnborough (1980-96); Priest-in-Charge of Mawnan (1996-2001); aged 86.

MAIN. — On 19 November, the Revd David Murray Main: Rector of All Saints’, Challoch, with St An­­drew’s, Newton Stewart (1975-79); Holy Trinity, Kilmarnock (1979-93); Canon of St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow (1985-93); Hon. Canon since 1993; Hon. Assistant Curate of St Ninian’s, Castle Douglas, since 1993; aged 88.

MALTIN. — On 19 November, the Revd Basil St Clair Aston Maltin: Vicar of Christ Church, Frome (1957-63); Curate-in-Charge of Marston Bigot (1957-59); Vicar of Bishop’s Lydeard (1963-71); Rector of Pulborough with North Heath and Nutbourne (1971-90); Rural Dean of Storrington (1984-89); aged 92.
