BAIN. — On 11 August, the Revd David Roualeyn Findlater (Roly) Bain: Chaplain Assistant of Guy’s Hospital, London (1981-84): Suc­centor of Southwark Cathedral (1981-84); Vicar of St Paul’s, Streatham (1984-90); Hon. Assistant Curate of Almondsbury and Olves­ton since 2008; aged 62.

HEARTFIELD. — On 8 August, the Revd Peter Reginald Heartfield: Vicar of St Alban’s, Preston, Brighton (1967-73); Chaplain of the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, and of Nunnery Fields Hospital, Can­terbury (1973-92); Six Preacher of Canterbury Cathedral (1979-84); Hon. Canon of Canterbury Ca­­thedral (1984-92); Canon Emeritus since 1992; Prior of St John’s Hospital, Canterbury, and of St Nicholas’s Hospital, Harbledown (1992-2015); Chaplain (2010-15); aged 88.

McMAHON. — On 18 July, the Revd Brian Richard McMahon: NSM of Colney Heath (1987-2003); aged 77.

NASH. — On 12 August, the Ven. Trevor Gifford Nash: Chaplain to the Forces (Territorial Army) (1956-57); Assistant Curate of Kingston-upon-Thames (1957-61); Stevenage, in charge of St Andrew’s, Bedwell (1961-63); Vicar of St Luke’s, Leagrave (1963-67); Senior Chap­lain of St George’s Hospital, London (1967-73); Bishop’s Adviser on the Ministry of Healing in the diocese of Winchester (1973-88); Rector of St Maurice with St Laurence and St Swithun, Winchester (1973-82); Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity, Winchester (1977-82); Rural Dean of Winchester (1978-82); Hon. Canon of Winchester Cathedral (1980-90); Archdeacon of Basingstoke (1982-90); Executive Co-ordinator of Acorn Christian Healing Trust (1990-97); President of the Guild of Health (1992-97); Warden of the Guild of St Raphael (1995-98); Hon. Chaplain of Win­chester Cathedral since 1998; aged 86.
