Archdeacons to retire

 

THE Ven. Peter Bradley, Archdeacon of Warrington, in Liverpool diocese, since 2001, will retire on 31 October. Before his present appointment, he had held posts in the diocese since 1979.

The Ven. Philip Morris, Archdeacon of Margam, in Llandaff diocese, since 2002, and Priest-in-Charge of Ewenny with St Brides Major, in that diocese, since 2005, will retire on 1 November. Before his present appointments, he had held posts in the diocese since 1974.

 

ADDENBROOKE. The Revd Keith Addenbrooke, Vicar of St Paul with St Luke, Tranmere, to be Vicar of Hale and Ashley (Chester).

ARBUTHNOT. The Revd Paul Arbuthnot, Minor Canon and Precentor of St Albans Cathedral (St Albans), to be Minor Canon and Sacrist of Westminster Abbey.

BALOGUN. The Revd Joseph Balogun, Vicar of Beckton (Chelmsford), to be Chaplain of Commander Portsmouth Flotilla Sea (Royal Naval Chaplaincy Service).

BANYARD. The Revd Michael Banyard, Rector of the Three Rivers Group, and Diocesan Spirituality Officer, to be also Rural Dean of Fordham and Quy (Ely).

BRUECK. The Revd Jutta Brueck, Priest-in-Charge of St James’s, Cambridge (Ely), to be half-time Priest-in-Charge of St Thomas’s, Ipswich (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

DEKKER. The Revd Denise Dekker, house-for-duty Priest-in-Charge of St Andrew’s, Guernsey (Winchester and Canterbury), to be house-for-duty Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) in the Caludon Team Ministry, Coventry (Coventry).

FRYMANN. The Revd Janet Frymann, Assistant Curate in the North Wingfield, Clay Cross and Pisley Team Ministry (Derby), to be Priest-in-Charge of Roughton and Felbrigg, Metton, Sustead, Bessingham and Gunton with Hanworth (Norwich).

GODFREY. The Revd Matthew Godfrey, Royal Navy Chaplain, to be Chaplain of HMS Bulwark (Royal Naval Chaplaincy Service).

GREAR. The Revd Hugh Grear, Rector of Worplesdon, to be Priest-in-Charge of Ockham with Downside, in East Horsley and Ockham with Hatchford and Downside (Guildford).

HAMMERSLEY. The Revd Susan Hammersley, Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of St Mark’s, Broomhill, Sheffield (Sheffield), to be Vicar.

HUNT. The Revd Beverley Hunt, formerly Team Vicar in the Godalming Team Ministry, to be Priest-in-Charge of East Molesey (Guildford).

MERCER. The Revd Dr Jarred Mercer, Assistant Curate of St Mary Magdalen’s, Oxford (Oxford), now also Junior Chaplain of Merton College, Oxford.

MURRAY. The Revd Dr Andrew Murray, Assistant Curate of Christ Church with Emmanuel Church, Clifton, to be Priest-in-Charge of Lawrence Weston and Avonmouth (Bristol).

OLIVER. The Revd Jonathan Oliver, Assistant Curate of Sholing, now Pioneer Minister of the Montague Estate, Sholing (Winchester).

POLLINGTON. The Revd Ann Pollington, Rector of St Ippolyts with Great and Little Wymondley (St Albans), to be Vicar of Cranbrook (Canterbury).

POTTS. The Revd Susan Potts, NSM of the Three Rivers Group (Ely), to be house-for-duty Associate Priest.

RANDALL. The Revd Evelyn Randall, NSM of Dormansland, now NSM (Assistant Priest) of Lingfield and Dormansland (Southwark).

RAWLINGS. The Revd Elizabeth Rawlings, Minister of Hamilton Conventional District, Leicester, now also Assistant Area Dean of City of Leicester (Leicester).

RIDGEWAY. The Revd David Ridgeway, Vicar of St Stephen’s, St Albans (St Albans), to be Rector of Castor with Upton and Stibbington and Water Newton, Marholm and Sutton (Peterborough).

SCRASE-FIELD. The Revd Dr Edward Scrase-Field, Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of St Cuthbert with St Mary, Cheadle (Chester), to be Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Blackheath (Southwark).

TEAR. The Revd Jeremy Tear, Assistant Curate of Caversham Thameside and Mapledurham (Oxford), to be Pioneer Team Vicar in the Warrington West Team Ministry (Liverpool).

TITLEY. The Revd Dr Robert Titley, Team Rector in the Richmond Team Ministry, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark), to be Canon Treasurer of Salisbury Cathedral (Salisbury).

 

WITHDRAWAL OF ACCEPTANCE

BARNES. The Revd John Barnes has withdrawn his acceptance of the post of house-for-duty Priest-in-Charge of Wentworth (Sheffield).

 

LAY APPOINTMENTS

SETTLE. Captain Andrew Settle CA, Four Estates Missioner of Locking deanery (Bath & Wells), to be Pioneer Evangelist of Neath Centre of Mission (Llandaff).
