New Dean of Guernsey

 

THE next Dean of Guernsey (Winchester and Canterbury dioceses) will be the Ven. Timothy Barker, Archdeacon of Lincoln since 2009, and Canon and Prebendary of Lincoln Cathedral since 2003. He will also be Rector of St André de la Pommeraye, Guernsey. Before his present appointments, he served in Chester and Lincoln dioceses.

 

AVERY. The Revd Robert Avery, Vicar of King Charles the Martyr, Tunbridge Wells (Rochester), to be Vicar of St Peter Mancroft with St John Maddermarket, Norwich (Norwich).

BIGGS. The Revd Laurence Biggs, Priest-in-Charge of Nunthorpe (York), to be Vicar.

BOOTHROYD. The Revd Richard Boothroyd, Assistant Curate of St Michael and All Angels with St Stephen, Wandsworth (Southwark), to be Associate Minister.

BROWN. The Revd Benjamin Brown, Assistant Curate in the Cheam Team Ministry, to be Team Vicar of St Katharine’s, Merstham, in the Merstham and Gatton Team Ministry (Southwark).

BURKE. The Revd Michael Burke, formerly Vicar of Hucclecote (Gloucester), now Team Vicar and Missioner in the Keynsham Team Ministry (Bath & Wells).

CLAPHAM. The Revd Stephen Clapham, Vicar of All Saints and St Paul with St Peter, Crewe, to be Rector of Church Lawton (Chester).

COLES. The Revd Richard Coles, Priest-in-Charge of Finedon (Peterborough), to be Vicar.

COLLINS. The Revd Cheryl Collins, Priest-in-Charge of Suffolk Heights, to be Rector, remaining Acting Rural Dean of Clare (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

CONNELL. The Revd Sharon Connell, Deputy Head of the Multifaith Chaplaincy Team of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (London), now Chaplain and Spiritual Care Co-ordinator of St Nicholas Hospice Care, Bury St Edmunds (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich).

DARWENT. The Revd Thomas Darwent, Assistant Curate of St Saviour’s, Guildford, to be Rector of St Paul’s, Camberley (Guildford).

DUCKETT. The Revd Keith Duckett, Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Oxley, and of St Gregory’s, Wednesfield (Lichfield), to be also Chaplain for Wellbeing of the Karis Medical Centre (Birmingham).

FARRELL. The Revd Katherine Farrell, formerly Assistant Curate of St John the Baptist’s, Croydon (Southwark), now Team Vicar in the Great Grimsby Team (Lincoln).

FAULKNER. The Revd Martin Faulkner, Assistant Curate of Bolingbroke Deanery (Lincoln), to be Vicar of Withernsea with Owthorne, Garton-In-Holderness with Grimston, Hilston, Hollym, Holmpton, Roos and Tunstall (York).

HAZLEHURST. The Revd Benedict Hazlehurst, Assistant Chaplain of HM Young Offender Institution Portland, to be also Weymouth and Portland Diocesan Vocations Co-ordinator (Salisbury).

HUNTER DUNN. The Revd Dr Jonathan Hunter Dunn, Assistant Curate of Burford with Fulbrook, Taynton, Asthall, Swinbrook and Widford (Oxford), to be Rector of Shepton Mallet with Doulting (Bath & Wells).

JEAVONS. The Revd Margaret Jeavons, Vicar of Sutton in Holderness, and Area Dean of East Hull, to be also Priest-in-Charge of Bilton in Holderness (York).

JENKINS. The Revd Alan Jenkins, Rector of Great Bookham, to be also Rural Dean of Leatherhead (Guildford).

KNOWLES. The Revd Andrew Knowles, Vicar of St Mary’s, Camberley, to be also Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands (Guildford).

LAUTENBACH. The Revd Wayne Lautenbach, Vicar of Prenton (Chester), to be Vicar of St Aldhelm with St Francis, Branksome (Salisbury).

MONDS. The Revd Anthony Monds, Vicar of Piddle Valley, Hilton, Cheselbourne and Melcombe Horsey, to be Bishop’s Chaplain (Salisbury).

MORRIS. The Revd Lynne Morris, formerly NSM of Witchampton, Stanbridge and Long Crichel with Moor Crichel, now NSM (Associate Priest) of West Moors (Salisbury).

NADARAJAH. The Revd Stephanie Nadarajah, Assistant Curate in the Caterham Team Ministry, to be part-time Vicar of Christ Church with St Philip, Worcester Park (Southwark).

OTTER. The Revd Martin Otter, Assistant Curate of Sherburn in Elmet with Saxton, and of Aberford with Micklefield, to be also Chaplain of Stockton Hall Psychiatric Hospital (York).

REID. The Revd Andrew Reid, Assistant Curate of Addlestone, to be Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Christ Church, Woking (Guildford).

RICHARDSON. The Revd Clive Richardson, Vicar of Rowledge and Frensham, to be Parish Care Support Adviser (Guildford).

SADDINGTON. The Revd Jean Saddington, house-for-duty Team Vicar in the Dorchester and the Winterbournes Team Ministry, to be also Archdeaconry Support Officer for Associate Clergy (Salisbury).

SHEPHARD. The Revd Nicola Shephard, Assistant Curate of Dorridge, to be Anglican Chaplain of Aston University (Birmingham).

THOMPSON. The Revd Geoffrey Thompson, Priest-in-Charge of St Stephen’s, Norbury, and Thornton Heath (Southwark), to be Vicar.
