BROWN. - On 27 January, the Revd Arthur Basil Etheredge Brown: Organising Secretary for the Midland District of Church Pastoral Aid Society (1950-53); Perpetual Curate of Holy Trinity, Scarborough (1953-58); Vicar of Holy Trinity, Heworth (1958-66); Curate-in-Charge of St Cuthbert with All Saints, Peasholm, and St Helen on the Walls, York (1964-66); Rector of Camborne (1966-82); aged 97.

CLAYTON. - On 2 March, the Revd Sydney Cecil Leigh Clayton: Hulme Lecturer of Bolton-le-Moors (1968-76); Vicar of Denshaw (1977- 2009); aged 77.

FOREMAN. - On 28 February, the Revd Roy Geoffrey Victor Foreman: Assistant Curate of St Mary with St Stephen, Walthamstow, later in St Mary's with St Stephen's Team Ministry, Walthamstow (1971-92); Team Vicar (1992-96); aged 83.

HARTE. - On 22 March, the Revd Frederick George Harte: Vicar of Bellingham (1960-73); St Nicholas's, Plumstead (1973-84); Vicar of Sutton Bridge (1984-90); Master and Priest-in-Charge of Chapel of St John's Hospital, Bath (1990-2000); aged 90.

HEASLIP. - On 21 February, the Revd William John Heaslip: Chaplain of Mount Temple Comprehensive School, Dublin (1980-86); Bishop's Curate of Aughhaval with Burrishoole, Knappagh and Louisburgh (1986-88); Rector (1988-91); Tuam Diocesan Radio Officer (1990-95); Rector of Aughhaval with Achill, Knappagh, Dugort, Castlebar and Turlough (1991-95); Rector of St Luke's Union, Cork (1995-98); Colann Renewal Minister (1998-2009); aged 70.

PATSTON. - On 14 March, the Revd Raymond Sidney Richard Patston: Universities' Mission to Central Africa Secretary for the Eastern Counties (1956-62); Assistant Curate of St Luke's, Chesterton (1956-59); Rector of Downham Market with Bexwell (1961-71); Vicar of Old Clee (1971-97); aged 88.

PROCTER. - On 17 March, the Revd Robert Hendy Procter: Team Vicar in the Christ Church Team Ministry, Edinburgh (1994-2007); Co-ordinator of Edinburgh Diocesan Urban Trust Fund (1996-2003); Treasurer (1998-2003); aged 83.

STEELE. - On 16 March, the Revd Charles Edward Ernest Steele: Priest-in-Charge of Shaw Hill, Alum Rock (1977-79); Vicar (1979-82); Assistant Curate of Curdworth (1982-83); Curdworth with Castle Vale (1983-85); aged 90.

STEWART. - On 26 February, the Revd William Stewart: NSM of Kilroot and Templecorran since 2001; aged 74.
