The Bishop of Leicester is seeking to appoint a Rector to the Benefice of Anstey and Thurcaston with Cropston.
At St John’s Goole, we love Jesus and we love our town. We have fantastic connections with locals through our thriving Life Events, and are looking for a priest to work within our team to oversee our Life Events.
These two very different parishes both have strong traditions of lay ministry and service to the wider communities.
The Diocese of Chester has several parish vacancies for part time Incumbents and
Priests-in-Charge. They vary in tradition, context and size of role from House for Duty with a 15% stipend (currently £4,063.50) to 50% stipend (currently £13,545). The package for each includes a well-kept house and clergy pension, together with other benefits.
As Director of the Central Secretariat and Clerk to the Synod, you will act as the equivalent of “Company Secretary” for the Archbishop’s Council charity; overseeing policy work on how the Church organises and governs itself. You will also support the Chief Executive, the Secretary General, across the range of his responsibilities, including deputising where necessary on issues within the Church and with key stakeholders outside the Church.
