New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey in Lincoln diocese, from the autumn, is to be the Revd Mark Steadman, Chaplain to the Bishop of Southwark. Before his present appointment, he was Area Dean of Bermondsey and acting Area Dean of Camberwell in the diocese of Southwark.

 

New archdeacon and associate archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of London, with responsibility for the Two Cities Area, in London diocese, from 1 January, is to be the Ven. Luke Miller, Archdeacon of Hampstead, in that diocese, since 2010. Before his present appointment, he was Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity, Winchmore Hill, and before that Vicar of St Mary's, Tottenham, and Area Dean of East Haringey. He will be assisted, as Associate Archdeacon, by the Revd Rosemary Lain-Priestley, Dean of Women's Ministry in the Area since 2006.

 

New acting archdeacon

The Revd Timothy Marwood, Vicar of Petersham since 2011, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral since 2008, is to be Acting Archdeacon of Wandsworth, in Southwark diocese.

 

BARNARD. The Revd Kevin Barnard, Assistant Curate of St Nicholas's in the Warwick Team Ministry (Coventry), to be Vicar of Westerham (Rochester).

BARNES. The Revd Jules Barnes, Bishop's Chaplain, to be also Minor Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol).

BROADHEAD. The Revd Lynn Broadhead, NS Assistant Curate of Greasbrough, to be Vicar of Thorpe Hesley (Sheffield).

COVINGTON. The Revd Michael Covington, Priest-in-Charge of South Framland, now also Interim Area Dean of Framland (Leicester).

DAY. The Revd Trevor Day, NSM of Broad Blunsdon, and of Highworth with Sevenhampton and Inglesham and Hannington, to be also Minor Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol).

De VERNY. The Revd David De Verny, Rector of Cheriton with Newington (Canterbury), to be Priest-in-Charge of St Anna and St Mary, Haarlem, the Netherlands (Europe).

DENNER-BROWN. The Revd Sarah Denner-Brown, Team Vicar in the Daventry, Ashby St Ledgers, Braunston, Catesby, Hellidon, Staverton and Welton Team Ministry, and Rural Dean of Daventry, to be also Hon. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (Peterborough).

FERNÁNDEZ. The Revd Hugo Fernández, formerly in the Roman Catholic church, to be Assistant Curate of St Laurence's, Catford (Southwark).

GARBUTT. The Revd Mary Garbutt, Rector of the Faxton Group: Maidwell with Draughton and Lamport with Faxton, Rural Dean of Brixworth, and Hon. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral, to be Priest-in-Charge of the Faxton Group, and Canon Emeritus (Peterborough).

GLEN. The Revd Dawn Glen, Assistant Curate of Kirk Langley, of All Saints', Mackworth, and of Mugginton and Kedleston, to be Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Brailsford with Shirley, Osmaston with Edlaston and Yeaveley (Derby).

GOODALL. The Rt Revd Jonathan Goodall, Suffragan Bishop of Ebbsfleet and Provincial Episcopal Visitor (Canterbury), and Hon. Assistant Bishop (Lichfield, Oxford, Worcester, Coventry, and Exeter), to be also Hon. Assistant Bishop (Bristol).

GRINDROD. The Revd Suzanne Grindrod, Assistant Curate of Lydney, to be Priest-in-Charge of Ashchurch and Kemerton (Gloucester).

HOGGER-GADSBY. The Revd Alison Hogger-Gadsby, NSM in the Coventry Caludon Team Ministry, to be also Chaplain of King Henry VIII Senior School, Coventry (Coventry).

KAY. The Revd Clifford Kay, Assistant Curate of St John the Evangelist, Warley, and St Hilda's, Halifax (West Yorkshire & the Dales), to be Vicar of the Belton Group (Lincoln).

LOFTHOUSE. The Revd Diane Lofthouse, NSM in the Moor Allerton and Shadwell Team Ministry, to be also Chaplain of St Gemma's Hospice, Leeds (West Yorkshire & the Dales).

MASON. The Revd Chantal Mason, formerly Bishop's Chaplain (Chelmsford), to be Lazenby Chaplain (Exeter).

MOORE. The Revd Darren Moore, Priest-in-Charge of St Wilfrid's, Halton, Leeds, Assistant Area Dean of Whitkirk, and Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands (West Yorkshire & the Dales), to be Chaplain of Barnard Castle School (Durham).

MUSTARD. The Revd James Mustard, Rector of East Barnet, to be also Assistant Area Dean of Barnet (St Albans).

NOBBS. The Revd Charles Nobbs, Minister of Grange Park Local Ecumenical Partnership, Planting Minister and Enabler, and Police Chaplaincy Co-ordinator, to be also Hon. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (Peterborough).

SEWELL. The Revd Andrew Sewell, Assistant Curate of St Stephen with St James and St John the Baptist with St Michael and St George, Bristol, and City Centre Retail Chaplain, to be also Minor Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol).

SMITH. The Revd Philip Smith, Vicar of Aldborough with Boroughbridge and Roecliffe (West Yorkshire & the Dales), to be Vicar of East Bedfont (London).

SOUTHGATE. The Revd Clair Southgate, OLM of Box with Hazlebury and Ditteridge, and of Colerne with North Wraxall (Bristol), to be Associate Minister of both.

TROTT. The Revd Stephen Trott, Rector of Pitsford with Boughton, and Chaplain of Pitsford School, to be also Rural Dean of Brixworth (Peterborough).

WILLIAMS. The Revd Ikuko Williams, formerly Chaplain of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (West Yorkshire & the Dales), to be again Chaplain.

WRIGHT. The Revd Stephen Wright, Chaplain of Dubai and Sharjah with the Northern Emirates (Cyprus & the Gulf), to be Priest-in-Charge of the Quidenham Group (Norwich), remaining Hon. Canon of Asaba (Asaba, Nigeria).
