THE new Archdeacon of Hampstead, in London diocese, is the Revd John Hawkins, Prebendary of St Paul’s. He was formerly Vicar of West Hendon, Priest-in-Charge of Colindale, and Area Dean of West Barnet in that diocese.
The Revd John Kronenberg, Vicar of Hinchley Wood in Guildford diocese since 2006, is to be acting Archdeacon of Reigate and Vicar of St John’s, Redhill, in the diocese of Southwark. Before his present appointment, he served in Winchester diocese.
THE Ven. Sheila Watson, Archdeacon of Canterbury, and Canon Residentiary of Canterbury Cathedral, in Canterbury diocese, since 2007, is to resign on 6 January 2016. Before her present appointment, she was Archdeacon of Buckingham, in Oxford diocese.
The Ven. David Lowman, Archdeacon of Chelmsford, in that diocese, since 2013, will retire on 31 January. Before his present appointment, he was Archdeacon of Southend.
THE Ven. Patrick Curran, Archdeacon of the East, in Europe diocese, since 2002, is retiring, remaining Chaplain of Christ Church, Vienna, and a Canon of the Cathedral Chapter of the diocese.
