BOWEN. — On 12 November, the Revd Stephen Guy Bowen: Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Wallington, in charge of St Patrick’s (1977-79); Vicar of Felbridge (1979-2012); aged 68.

CARNELL. — On 14 November, the Revd Geoffrey Gordon Carnell: Chaplain and Lecturer of St Gabriel’s College, Camberwell (1949-53); Rector of Isham (1953-71); Vicar of Great with Little Harrowden (1953-71); Peterborough Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Post-Ordination Training (1962-85); Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (1965-85); Diocesan Librarian of Ecton House (1967-93); Rector of Boughton (1971-85); Chaplain to the Queen (1981-88); aged 97.

HEMSLEY. — On 13 November, the Revd David Ridgway Hemsley: Curate-in-Charge of Tingewick, and of Water-Stratford (1970-75); Radclive with Chackmore (1972-75); Priest-Missioner in North Marston with Granborough, in Hardwicke with Weedon, in Oving with Pitchcott, and Priest-in-Charge of Quainton (1975-81); Team Vicar in the Schorne Team Ministry (1981-90); Priest-in-Charge of Little Missenden (1990-93); Vicar (1993-2001); Area Dean of Buckingham (2009-10); aged 79.

HILLYER. — On 10 November, the Revd Charles Norman Hillyer: Curate-in-Charge of St John’s, New Malden (1951-54); Vicar of St Saviour with St Paul, Holloway (1954-59); Chaplain of the City of London Maternity Hospital (1954-59); Vicar of Ponsbourne (1959-70); Warden of Ponsbourne College (1959-70); Chaplain of Tolmers Park Hospital (1959-70); Librarian of Tyndale House, Cambridge (1970-73); Secretary of the Tyndale Fellowship for Biblical Research, Cambridge (1973-75); Organising Editor of the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (1973-79); Priest-in-Charge of Hatherleigh (1979-81); aged 94.

TILSTON. — On 23 September, the Revd Derek Reginald Tilston: Team Vicar in the Bramley Team Ministry (1987-90); Rector of Tendring and Little Bentley with Beaumont cum Moze (1990-92); aged 88.
