EFEMEY. - On 24 January, the Revd Raymond Frederick Efemey: Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Yeovil, in charge of St Mary's (1957-60); Vicar of Upper Arley (1960-66); Industrial Chaplain of Kidderminster (1960-66); Vicar of Dudley (1966-75); Curate-in-Charge of St James the Great, Dudley (1966-69); Vicar of St Thomas and St Luke, Dudley (1966-75); Assistant Curate of All Saints', Stretford (1976-82); Priest-in-Charge of Weaste (1982-87); Vicar (1987-93); aged 86.

FOSTER. - On 18 January, the Revd Steven Foster: Team Vicar in the Woughton Team Ministry (1983-94); Vicar of Walshaw since 1994; aged 62.

JONES. - On 8 January, the Revd Frederick John Jones: Rector of All Saints', Heaton Norris (1965-76); All Saints', Heaton Norris with Christ Church (1976-77); Vicar of Castleton Moor (1977-88); Assistant Curate of Greenfield (1988-93); aged 82.

LAWTON. - On 14 January, the Revd David Andrew Lawton: Team Vicar in the Holy Trinity Team Ministry, Walton (2004-09); Vicar of Southcourt since 2009; aged 52.

O'CONNOR. - On 12 January, the Revd Alfred Stanley O'Connor: Rector of Killesher (1949-54); Roscrea Union (1954-62) Rural Dean of Ely O'Carroll (1960-62); Rector of Camlough with Killeavy (1962-65); Drumglass (1965-85); Canon of Armagh Cathedral (1983-85); aged 94.

SHORTT. - On 1 January, the Revd Noel Christopher Shortt: RAF Chaplain (1968-69); Rector of Duneane with Ballyscullion (1969-79); St Stephen's, Belfast (1979-89); St Stephen with St Luke, Belfast (1980-89); Ballyrashane with Kildollagh (1989-99); Canon of St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast (1996-99); aged 78.

SMITH. - On 16 February, the Revd Richard Geoffrey Smith: Rector of Shepton Beauchamp with Barrington, Stocklinch, Puckington and Bradon (1981-83); Team Vicar in the Ridge, Redditch, Team Ministry (1985-89); Rector of Teme Valley North (1989-98); Assistant Curate of Cleobury Mortimer with Hopton Wafers, Neen Sollars and Milson, Neen Savage with Kinlet and Doddington (2005-12); aged 68.

SYKES. - On 17 January, the Revd William George David Sykes: Chaplain of University College, London (1969-78); Chaplain and Fellow of University College, Oxford (1978-2005); aged 75.

TAYLOR. - On 23 January, the Revd Jan William Karel Taylor: Rector of St Paul's, Belfast (1987-92); RAF Chaplain since 1992; aged 55.

TUCKER. - On 11 February, the Revd Harold George Tucker: Perpetual Curate of Mariansleigh with Romansleigh (1956-64); Mariansleigh with Romansleigh and Meshaw (1962-64); Rector of Bratton Fleming (1964-73); Curate-in-Charge of Goodleigh and of Stoke Rivers (1967-73); Curate-in-Charge of Parracombe and of Martinhoe (1969-73); Rector of Whimple (1973-86); aged 93.
