From the Revd Peter Varney

Sir, - We celebrated, with our friends from Singapore and West Malaysia, a day of thanksgiving on 13 June, with 150 people joining the Archbishop and Bishops from South-East Asia as we ended the work of our associations. We will continue with our prayers and financial support in new ways.

Your report (News, 5 June) described what our friends in the Singapore and West Malaysia Association will do with their funds, but at our AGM we felt we should let your readers know that the BMA funds will be passed to Us. (USPG), and continue to be used in accordance with our donors' wishes, for training and theological education in Borneo.
