Sir, - How is it possible to publish a near-1000-word article on the legacy of Magna Carta (Comment, 12 June) without mentioning that the present Government is planning to withdraw this country from European human-rights legislation, thereby undermining centuries of the international growth of such legislation, and hence seeking to diminish human community, potentially irreparably?
