Two beat as one?

From Mr Mike Hall

Sir, — St Andrew’s, Gorleston, wants a new Vicar who “has a pastoral heart” but also “a heart for Mission”. St Saviour’s in Guildford is advertising for an Associate Rector with “a pastoral heart for people” as well as “a heart to equip our staff members and volunteer leaders”.

Are these requirements anatomically possible? Have I got this wrong, but I thought it was only the Doctor, in Doctor Who, who had two hearts.

Perhaps this explains why we used to pray “that both our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments”.
