Tom Driberg, the first and last Lord Bradwell

Sir, - Lord Driberg (Features, 20 June)? There never was no such animal. Tom, who died in a London taxi on 12 August 1976, spent his last few months here as the Lord Bradwell of Bradwell-juxta-Mare in the county of Essex - "The first and last Lord Bradwell" of a Betjeman birthday-squib.
