SOMEBODY was enjoying the recent animal service at All Saints',
Fulham, in west London, early this month. The
white mouse Stuart Little found the service sheet particularly
flavoursome. There was a procession of dogs, cats, guinea pigs,
turtles, white rats, and others who came to church for a blessing -
the only occasion when the sidesmen at All Saints' police the
seating arrangements: cats on one side, dogs on the other.
The Curate, the Revd Penny Seabrook, said that the tea after the
service was a great occasion where people made friends across the
generations.
