ANDREW. - On 17 October, the Revd John Gerald Barton Andrew: Domestic Chaplain to the Archbishop of York (1960-61); to the Archbishop of Canterbury (1961-65); Senior Chaplain (1965-69); Six Preacher of Canterbury Cathedral (1967-72); Vicar of Preston (1969-72); Rural Dean of Preston (1970-72); Rector of St Thomas's, Fifth Avenue, New York (1972-96); Hon. Canon of St John the Divine Cathedral, New York, since 1995; aged 83.

BENNETT. - On 8 October, the Revd Arthur Harling Bennett: Team Vicar in the Darwen Team Ministry (1975-79); Vicar of Whitechapel (1979-89); Whitechapel with Admarsh-in-Bleasdale (1989-90); aged 92.

JACKSON. - On 30 September, the Revd Peter Lewis Jackson: Priest-in-Charge of Napton-on-the-Hill (1972-75); Vicar (1975-89); Vicar of Lower Shuckburgh (1975-89); Rector of Napton-on-the-Hill, Lower Shuckburgh and Stockton (1989-99); aged 80.

JONES. - On 8 October, the Revd Raymond Blake Jones: Vicar of Eye, Suffolk (1966-77); Braiseworth (1966-77); Curate-in-Charge of Yaxley (1974-77); Rural Dean of Hartismere (1976-77); Rector of Ufford (1977-82); Chaplain of St Audry's Mental Hospital, Melton (1977-82); Vicar of St Katherine with St Nicholas, Southbourne (1982-95); aged 85.

MacWILLIAM. - On 24 October, the Very Revd Dr Alexander Gordon MacWilliam: Minor Canon of Bangor Cathedral (1949-55); Assistant Curate of St Mary's, Bangor (1950-53); St James's, Bangor (1953-55); Rector of Llanfaethlu with Llanfwrog and Llanrhyddlad (1955-58); Rector of Llanfairynghornwy with Llanrhwydrus (1956-58); Canon of St Davids Cathedral (1978-84); Lecturer of Trinity College, Carmarthen (1958-70); Head of School of Social Studies, Trinity College, Carmarthen (1970-84); Visiting Professor of Theology of Central University of Iowa (1983-84); Canon Precentor of St Davids Cathedral, and Vicar and Dean of St Davids (1984-90); Dean Emeritus since 1990; aged 91.

WHITE. - On 8 October, the Revd Ruth Anna White: Assistant Chaplain among Deaf and Deaf-blind People (1999-2012); NSM of St Mary with St Edward and St Luke, Leyton (1999-2003); NSM of St John the Baptist, Leytonstone (2003-12); aged 69.
