GIBSON. - On 23 December, the Revd Raymond Frank Gibson: Vicar of Fairlight (1972-83); Hallwood (1983-85); Rector of Freethorpe with Wickhampton, Halvergate, Tunstall, Beighton and Moulton (1985-99); Priest-in-Charge of Reedham with Cantley with Limpenhoe and Southwood (1994-99); aged 79.

LEEMING. - On 20 December, the Revd John Maurice Leeming: Vicar of Bolsterstone (1980-89); Joint Minister of Stocksbridge Christian Centre Local Ecumenical Project (1980-89); Industrial Chaplain in Sheffield diocese (1981-89); in Derby diocese since 1998; aged 89.

VERE HODGE. - On 15 December, the Revd Francis Vere Hodge: Rector of Iping with Chithurst (1954-58); Sequestrator and Curate-in-Charge of Linch (1954-56); Rector (1956-58); Vicar of Kingswood, Surrey (1958-65); Moorlinch with Stawell and Sutton Mallet (1965-80); Rector of Greinton (1968-80); Rural Dean of Glastonbury (1975-79); Prebendary of Wells Cathedral (1979-98); Priest-in-Charge of Lydeard St Lawrence with Coombe Florey and Tolland (1980-84); aged 94.

WALLER. - On 21 December, the Revd John Pretyman Waller: Rector of Waldringfield with Hemley (1974-78); Priest-in-Charge of Newbourn (1974-78); Rector of Waldringfield with Hemley and Newbourn since 1978; aged 72.

WARD. - On 22 November, the Revd Kenneth Arthur Ward: Assistant Curate of Stevenage, in charge of Holy Trinity (1955-58); Rector of Daventry (1958-73 and 1979-82); Rural Dean of Daventry (1968-76); Rector of Daventry with Norton (1973-79); Vicar of Pattishall with Cold Higham (1982-88); aged 90.
