HAMPSHIRE FIRE AND RESCUE/SOLENT NEWS

The medieval church St Peter's, Ropley, in Hampshire, was in flames on Thursday last week. The roof of the 800-year-old Grade II listed church caught fire at about 9 a.m. The blaze eventually destroyed the entire roof and bell tower. The Vicar, the Revd Royston Such, said he thanked God no one was hurt
