research, seeks personal information about the importance of
Christian faith among British servicemen and -women in the Second
World War, particularly on five specific topics. He would like to
hear from those who served, and from relatives, by written

Sarum College is hosting a commemoration of
Canon Harold Wilson, former Principal of Salisbury (later Salisbury
and Wells) Theological College, on 18 October. They hope as many
