LEWIS. - On 24 July, the Revd William George Melville Lewis: Vicar of St Barnabas's, Eltham (1974-80); St Mark's, Reigate (1980-89); St Richard's, Ham (1989-97); Hon. Assistant Curate of Kew (1997-2000); aged 83.

MARSHALL. - On 3 July, the Revd John Douglas Marshall: Hon. Assistant Curate of Radlett (1979-86); aged 91.

MUSTON. - On 10 August, the Revd David Alan Muston: Assistant Curate of Goole, in charge of St Paul's (1967-70); Secretary of the Industrial Committee of the General Synod Board for Social Responsibility (1970-76); Assistant General Secretary of the Board for Social Responsibility (1974-76); Industrial Mission Chaplain in Winchester diocese (1977-79); Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, Leigh (1979-83); Rector of Otham with Langley (1983-97); 81.

PHELPS. - On 30 July, the Revd Ian James Phelps: Vicar of South Croxton with Gaddesby (1959-67); Rector of Beeby (1959-67); Assistant Leicester Diocesan Youth Chaplain and Rural Youth Adviser (1965-67); Chaplain to the Forces (Territorial Army) (1960-67); Chaplain to the Forces (Reserve of Officers) (1967-84); Leicester Diocesan Youth Officer and Chaplain (1967-85); Leicester Diocesan Adult Education Officer (1985-91); Pastoral Assistant to the Bishop and Archdeacon of Leicester (1991-94); aged 85.

WALLIS. - On 5 August, the Revd Dr Peter Wallis: NSM of Clymping and Yapton with Ford since 2001; aged 72.
