BAIRD. - On 5 July, the Revd Robert Douglas Baird: NSM of Charlbury with Shorthampton (1985-87); Assistant Chaplain of HM Prison Grendon and Spring Hill (1985); aged 92.

BONE. - On 5 July, the Rt Revd John Frank Ewan Bone: Vicar of Datchet (1963-76); Rural Dean of Burnham (1974-77); Rector of St Mary Upton with Chalvey, Slough (1976-78); Archdeacon of Buckingham (1978-89); Area Bishop of Reading (1989-96); aged 83.

DIXON. - On 29 June, the Revd Francesca Dorothy Dixon: Deaconess of All Saints', West Bromwich (1984-87); Parish Deacon (1987-94); Assistant Curate (1994); Chaplain of Burrswood Christian Centre (1995); aged 61.

ROPER. - On 28 June, the Revd Timothy Hamilton Roper: Chaplain of Rossall School, Fleetwood (1965-84); Rector of Arthingworth, Harrington with Oxendon and East Farndon (1984-99); Rural Dean of Brixworth (1989-94); Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (1994-99); aged 80.

THOMAS. - On 30 June, the Revd Geoffrey Charles Thomas: Vicar of Whitgift with Adlingfleet (1970-74); Curate-in-Charge of Eastoft (1972-4); Vicar of St Saviour's, Mortomley (1974-88); Rector of Middleton Cheney with Chacombe (1988-93); aged 84.

TREASURE. - On 4 July, the Revd Ronald Charles Treasure: Minister of St Michael and All Angels' District, North Hull (1954-58); Vicar (1958-62); Vicar of New Malton (1962-89); Rural Dean of Malton (1963-75); aged 90.

WEDGWOOD. - On 22 June, the Revd George Peter Wedgwood: Chaplain and Assistant Master of Sedbergh School (1954-57); Perpetual Curate of St Cuthbert's, Durham (1957-63); Chaplain and Master of Durham High School (1958-63); Chaplain and Senior Lecturer in Divinity of St Katharine's College, Liverpool (1963-69); Principal Lecturer (1969-83); Head of Divinity of Liverpool Institute of Higher Education (1976-84); Head of Divinity of Liverpool College of Higher Education (1984-86); Priest-in-Charge of Kirkoswald, Renwick and Ainstable (1986-88); Hon. Assistant Curate of Hawick (2002-05); aged 87.

Correction. The Revd William Harrington died on 12 June, aged 80, and not as stated last week. His diocese wishes to apologise for the error.
