We are looking for an energetic, prayerful priest with a mature spirituality to assist the Rector, wardens and PCC in exploring the meaning of Christ’s gospel in this complex environment as we make our way through the pandemic.
We are seeking an incumbent for this united benefice of two parishes in a beautiful part of rural Cheshire, with a total population of around 4,000. There are three churches (St Oswald Malpas, St John Threapwood and Holy Trinity Bickerton). The parishes are of central tradition. There are strong community links and several schools, including a church school. A good modern rectory is provided.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an engaged and committed team to share God’s kingdom in a beautiful part of Devon. It is a key position within the Archdeaconry which will be exceptionally rewarding for an experienced priest.
The well established Ferncumbe Benefice comprises three distinctive parishes, united and strengthened through the breadth of our communities. We’re searching for an inspired leader who can help us to become even more collaborative.
