ALEXANDER. - On 5 October, the Revd Douglas Keith Alexander: Priest-in-Charge of Lakenham and Chaplain of Norwich City College of Further and Higher Education (1992-97); Team Vicar in the Barnham Broom Team Ministry (1997-2000); Barnham Broom and Upper Yare Team (2000-04); Team Rector (2004-10); Rural Dean of Dereham in Mitford (2008-10); aged 69.

ATKINS. - On 26 September, the Revd Timothy Samuel Atkins: Vicar of Baxenden, Accrington (1954-58); Mildenhall (1958-63); Bunbury (1963-87); Rural Dean of Malpas (1985-87); aged 92.

FISHER. - On 29 September, the Revd Thomas Andrew Fisher: Chaplain of Salisbury College of Technology and of Salisbury College of Further Education (1989-94); Chaplain of Salisbury Sea Cadets (1990-2006); NSM of St Mark's, Salisbury (1993-2003); aged 79.

McDERMID. - On 30 September, the Ven. Norman George Lloyd Roberts McDermid: Assistant Curate of Leeds, in charge of Quarry Hill (1951-56); Perpetual Curate of Bramley (1956-64); Rector of Kirkby Overblow (1964-80); Ripon Diocesan Christian Stewardship Adviser (1964-76); Hon. Canon of Ripon Cathedral (1972-83); Christian Stewardship Adviser for Bradford and Wakefield dioceses (1973-76); Rural Dean of Harrogate (1977-83); Vicar of Knaresborough (1980-83); Archdeacon of Richmond (1983-93); Archdeacon Emeritus since 1993; aged 87.

RICHARDSON. - On 14 August, the Revd David Gwynne Richardson: Social and Industrial Adviser to the Bishop of Durham (1967-77); Team Vicar in the Brayton with Barlow Team Ministry, and Chaplain of the Selby Coalfield (1978-92); Chaplain of the Institution of Mining Engineers (1985-2002); Rector of Monk Fryston and South Milford (1992-2004); Rural Dean of Selby (1993-2004); Chaplain of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining since 2002; Canon and Prebendary of York Minster (2003-04); aged 75.
