From Mrs Hilda Erickson

Sir, - Reading the Revd John Wall's Diary (12 September), I was reminded of a book that my late husband bought many years ago, and which I have re-read recently.

It was Transport of Delight by Jack Burton, first published in 1976. He was an ordained Methodist minister, but worked also as a bus driver in Norwich.

I wondered as I re-read it whether he was still alive, and also how his life worked out for him. Perhaps someone will know.
