THE next Archdeacon of Lambeth, in Southwark diocese, is to be the Revd Simon Gates, Vicar of St Thomas and St Stephen, Telford Park, and Area Dean of Lambeth South, also in Southwark diocese, since 2006. He has held posts in the diocese since 1996.
