Is the Church in Wales’s vocation to be PC?

20 September 2013

From Dr Christopher Wilkinson

Sir, - My most hearty congratulations to the Church in Wales, on voting to allow women to become bishops.

I feel confident that the Archbishop will now support me in a recently found calling. I strongly feel that God is calling me to become a nun. I shall not actively be seeking to become a Mother Superior, but feel that my talents will not go unnoticed and that, eventually, this office will come to me naturally.

I shall be inviting the Archbishop of Wales to become president of a new pressure group I am forming, to ensure that I fulfil my vocation. It shall be called Men And The Church, or MATCH.

I invite any men who share my aspirations to join MATCH, and I should be able to assure them of the support of the politically correct hierarchy of the Church in Wales.
