From the Rt Revd Lord Harries of Pentregarth
Sir, - In her excellent article about Nelson Mandela (Comment, 13 December), Audrey Wells writes that there is "not an explicit" theory of "Just Revolution".

It is more explicit than she thinks. Drawing on Catholic and Calvinist thought in the 16th and 17th centuries, I applied the criteria of Just Revolution to liberation movements then active, including the ANC, in a little book, Should Christians Support Guerrillas?, published by Lutterworth in 1982.
