Introvert’s bruising BAP experience

Sir, - Still bruised by a recent report from a Bishops' Advisory Panel which described me, correctly but in disparaging terms, as an introvert unwilling to explore my vulnerabilities with the panel, I read Deborah Fielding's article "Speak out, but in your quiet, introvert way" (Comment, 12 July) with recognition and thankfulness.

The panel report implied that being an introvert meant that not only could I not be of service to God, but also that there was something fundamentally wrong with me. I am most grateful to Ms Fielding for suggesting the possibility that neither may actually be the case.
